Meet Our Little Rock Family Dentists
Dr. Randy Machen, D.D.S. grew up in Magnolia Arkansas. He graduated Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1983 and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1987. Dr. Machen has been building Little Rock Family Dental Care and practicing Family Dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Machen has two beautiful daughters, Carly is attending Hendrix College and Sophie is attending Pulaski Academy. When he isn’t at LRFDC practicing Dentistry, you might find him volunteering his time as Deputy Sheriff for Pulaski County. He loves the gym and spending time with his daughters and friends at the lake.
Mark Murphy, D.D.S. is a Little Rock native. Dr. Murphy graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1980 and then from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1986. He has been in private practice in Little Rock since 1986. Dr. Murphy and his staff joined Little Rock Family Dental Care in January 2014. Dr. Murphy is active in organized dentistry, and served on the Executive Council of the Arkansas State Dental Association from 2002 to 2007, and as President of the Central District Dental Society since 2010. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, International and American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has also served on the part-time Dental Staff of Arkansas Children’s Hospital from 1987 – 1998. Dr. Murphy enjoys volunteer work and he is proud to currently serve as the Volunteer Director of the Arkansas Mission of Mercy (ARMOM)…
Dr. Scallion is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. He received his Dental Degree and post graduate specialty certification in Prosthodontics from the University of Tennessee. Dr Scallion has over 20 years experience as a Prosthodontist and is able to offer advanced treatment of implants, crowns, bridges & denture procedures. When Dr. Scallion is not practicing dentistry he spends his time with his wonderful children. He is an avid cave diver, photographer, and motorcycle enthusiast.
Dr. Bill Gibson received his BS in Zoology from ASU in Jonesboro in 1981 and from there continued his education at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences, graduating from the College of Dentistry in 1985. He has been in practice as a family dentist in the Little Rock area since graduating. Dr. Gibson truly enjoys his profession, getting to know his patients, and helping them achieve their dental health goals is his priority. He also volunteers at the Harmony Health Clinic where he performs free services for those in need which allows him the opportunity to give back to my community. Dr. Gibson and his wife, Robin, have three wonderful children and any free time they get is spent spoiling Mackenzie, their 2 year-old granddaughter. They are also expecting another grandchild in the near future. Dr. Gibson is looking forward to seeing his regular patients and meeting new ones here at LRFDC!
Dr. Tramel graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology in 1977 and from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1982. He has worked in private practice as a family dentist for 31 years and he is constantly striving to remain on the cutting edge of the dental profession in order to deliver the best care to his patients. Dr. Tramel and his wife, Kim, have been married since 1978 and they have a passion for travel and international missions. Dr. Tramel is also an avid pilot with his private and commercial aviation ratings.
Dr. Rachel Mann was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2010 and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2014.
“Dr. Rachel” is very excited about beginning her career and working with her dad (Dr. Bill Gibson) and the many talented dentists at Little Rock Family Dental Care.
Dr. Aundra Murphy is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. After graduating from dental school in 2007, he was commissioned as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of his tour of duty in 2010 he briefly went into to private practice before attending a post graduate endodontic residency program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. After accomplishing his goal of attaining an endodontic certificate in 2013, he returned to Arkansas to practice dentistry. Dr. Murphy is a Board Certified Endodontist. He joined Little Rock Family Dental Care in November of 2013, bringing with him over 7 years of clinical experience as a dentist. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking, traveling, bowling and cycling.
Dr. Patrick Driver joined the Little Rock Family Dental Care team as the practices Periodontics. Dr. Patrick Driver comes from Springfield, Missouri and obtained his DDS at UMKC. After dental school, Dr. Driver attended a one-year hospital-based general practice residency in Virginia through the U.S. Navy followed by three years in Okinawa, Japan. Following active duty, Dr. Driver returned to Kansas City, where he was accepted into the UMKC Periodontics residency program. He completed his residency program with an emphasis on saving teeth, treating gum disease, gum and bone grafts, extractions, and replacing hopeless teeth with implants.
Dr. Burnett joins Little Rock Family Dental practicing Oral Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Vanderbilt University, then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Oklahoma where he also received his residency/certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
